If you’d like to submit a testimony, please leave an email with TESTIMONY <in all caps> in the subject line. These are the stories that save others.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.Revelation 12:11
This story took place in the summer of 2018, during a time of merciless persecution I was called to endure from the enemy.
For years already at this time I was living as a shut-in in Long Island, as a result of the enemy slipping into my home, reeking life threatening havoc, any chance they could get. I lived with barricades at the doors, drumsticks in the windows, a camera rolling at all times – anything I could come with that repelled the enemies unrelenting harassment; all while juggling living with family who could not see what was going on in my life.
The Lord had already brought a stray kitten into my life late one rainy night. He surely would of perished if I didn’t take him in. He was literally the only friend and source of love I had for almost 2 years. He was very dear to me – a responsibility; a trusted gift from God whose life was in my hands during such a time.
So when the summer came around, and nights fell inviting to spend at the cool of the beach, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try to quench my thirst to go out witnessing about Jesus to anyone I could. …Sadly in Long Island, Jones Beach is really the ONLY option that springs such an oportunity.
I’ve already stopped bothering driving my fathers car when I could, because of the persecution. At this point, the enemy wouldn’t of hesitated to sabotage the car, leaving me stuck, and giving them the opportunity to come into my home while my family was sleeping, and take the life of cat, and another damage they could conjure up.
I asked the Lord if I could take my father’s car, and go out there to preach the Gospel, as He has gracefully gave me supernatural protection in the past. This time was different though, because there was NO safety net – nothing I could do, the enemy would have their way.
I felt the Lord softly tell me I could go; having to rely on His supernatural protection. I hesitated because it’s not like I got a strong confident “yes” – besides who wouldn’t be trembling in expecting God to do such a miracle??
I searched my spirit, and discerned the “yes” was greater than a “no”; stepped out in faith, prayed up, and headed out to drive to the beach.
It didn’t take long after I parked my car, and was at the furthest point away from the parking lot, that the enemy made it known they indeed sabotaged the car. I felt the confirmation through the Holy Spirit as well. I remember He gently assured me it would be ok. I carried on with my night, walking in that promise.
Sure enough, when it came time to head home, I got in the car, and it started right up! God undid it as if nothing ever happened! I made it home perfectly fine.
This was a turning point in my Walk, truly etching in me a boost of my faith and trust in the Him. Is He not so inconceivably good and worthy of all praise???? Glory to you Jesus!!!
This continued almost every night I could get out there. The enemy would persist in sabotaging my father’s car (at least that first summer), and the Lord was so gracefully faithful, I’d make it home perfectly fine every night! Glory to God, I NEVER got stuck – not once (I did this the summer after as well). He was always faithful. Eventually the enemy stopped trying, either because the Lord raised up a standard – I don’t know.
All I can say He is truly faithful, especially when we step out in blind faith. The Bible says it’s impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
I hope this is an inspiration to someone out there facing impossible odds. Please know, the Lord IS astounding faithful to make a way.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.Psalm 150:6
Thank you Jesus with love!:
