[It is always the general rule of thumb not to solely take the author’s word throughout these studies, but to pray and seek the face of Yahuah for one’s self, and let the Spirit lead you into all truth (John 16:13-15).]

Reasoning Behind the Numerical Ordering
The numbering of these psalms of course should not be accounted as per se “official”. Following suit with the commonly known apocryphal Psalms 151-160; these psalms also plucked from the Dead Sea Scrolls, have different numbering depending on the original source you refer to (e.g. Psalms 151-155 being canonized in the Syriac, are not necessarily numbered as the same psalms when referring to the commonly accepted collective of Psalms 151-160). For the sake of simple clarity, continuing on in the Psalm 161 chronological general collective seems to be the only obvious step to move forward in, in an all-sincere attempt to rightfully divide, preserve, and freely share what is obviously Yahuah’s Inspired written Word.

Psalm 177
- I thank You, O Yahuah,
for You have illuminated my face through Your covenant,
and […] - […] I seek You;
and as the endurance of dawn established for perfect light,
You have appeared to me.
• - But, these, Your people are deceived;
for they flatter themselves with words,
as false prophets of smooth things lead them astray;
they perish without knowledge […] for their works are in folly. - For I am despised by them
— esteeming me not —
even when You displayed Your might through me. - They cast me out from my land
like a bird from its nest; - All my friends and brethren expelled far from me
— I was held as a broken vessel.
• - And they, teachers of lies and seers of falsehood,
have schemed against me a devilish scheme;
to exchange the Torah You engraved distinctly on my heart
for the smooth things instructed toward Your people. - For they withhold from the thirsty the drink of knowledge,
and assuage their thirst with vinegar,
that they may gaze on their straying:
behaving foolishly concerning the feast-days,
being caught up in their snares.
• - But You, O Yahuah,
despise all of Belail’s schemes; - For it is Your counsel that shall stand,
and the design of Your heart to be established for ever. - As for them, they are pretenders,
and the infamies of devilish schemes they think;
they seek You with a double heart,
and are not confirmed in Your truth. - A root bearing poisoned and bitter fruit
is in their designs;
they wander in stubbornness of heart,
and seek You in the midst of idols. - They set before themselves
the stumbling-block of their sin,
seeking of You from the mouth of lying prophets,
deceived by error. - They speak in mockery
through an alien tongue to Your people,
in that they may cunningly turn
all their works to folly. - For they did not choose the way of Your heart
nor did they give ear to Your word: - As for the vision of knowledge they say, “It is unsure”,
and concerning the way of Your heart, “It is not the way”
• - But You, O Yahuah, will reply to them,
chastening them in Your might
according to their idols,
and the multitude of their sins; - That they who have turned aside from Your Covenant
may be caught in their own designs. - You shall cut them off in judgement
— all men of lies —
as there shall be no more seers of error; - For in Your works is no folly,
no guile in the designs of Your heart. - But those who please You
shall stand before You for ever. - Those who walk in the way of Your heart
shall be established for evermore.
• - Clinging to You, I will stand straight,
arising against those who despise me;
my hand shall be turned against those who scorn me; - For they esteemed me not,
though You display Your might through me,
and reveal Yourself to me in Your strength as perfect light.
• - You do not cover with shame the faces
of all those who are sought by me;
who are meeting together in the Yahad
in accordance with Your covenant. - Those who walk in the way of Your heart
have listened to me, and stand in array
— drawing themselves up before You —
in the Council of the Holy. - You will cause their judgement to endure for ever,
and truth to go forward unhindered; - You will not allow them to be led astray
by the hand of the Damned,
when they plot against them. - You will put the fear of them into Your people,
and will make them as a hammer
to all the peoples of the lands,
that in judgement they may cut off
all those who transgress Your word.
• - Through me You have illuminated
the face of the General Congregation,
and have shown Your infinite power. - For You have given me knowledge
through Your marvelous mysteries; - And through Your mighty wondrous council
You have confirmed me
in the midst of the many from the General Assembly,
for the sake of Your glory;
making known Your mighty deeds before all the living.
• - But what is flesh to be worthy of this?
- What is a vessel of clay
for such great marvels to be done;
whereas he is in iniquity from the womb,
and in guilty unfaithfulness until his old age? - Righteousness, I know, is not of man,
nor is perfection of way in the son of Adam:
to El Elyon belongs all righteous deeds. - For the way of man does not endure
except by the spirit which Yahuah created for him;
to make perfect a way for the children of Adam, - That all His creatures may know
the might of His power,
and the abundance of His mercies
towards all the sons of His grace.
• - But as for me, shaking and trembling seize me,
and all my bones are broken; - My heart melts like wax before fire,
and my knees are like water
tumbling down a steep place. - For I remember my sins
and the unfaithfulness of my fathers;
when the wicked rose against Your covenant,
and the Damned against Your word: - I said in my transgression,
”I am forsaken by Your Covenant!” - But I remembered the might of Your hand,
and the greatness of Your compassion;
I arose, encouraged, upright and firm;
my spirit established in the face of affliction. - For I rested in Your grace,
and the abundance of Your mercies;
for You will pardon iniquity,
and through Your righteousness
You will purify man of his sin. - Not for his sake will You do this,
but for Your glory’s sake You have worked;
for You created the righteous and the wicked.
[…]
• - By Your judgement in the Yahad
I will hold fast to Your Covenant
until […] - […] before You in judgement;
for Your are truth, and all Your works righteousness.
• - [*Estimated 2 verses missing]
- […] to the day of wrathful fury
[…] Your forgiveness,
and the abundance of Your mercies. - And when I realized this,
— to know these things —
You comforted me by Your truth. - […] according to Your will;
and by Your hand is the judgement of them all. - […]
